Artist’s statement:
“My work focuses on altering the human form by affecting its figure with just one simple intervention. Photos of the human body are printed onto translucent silk which will create the possibility of physically layering different bodies, ages, generations and identities.
In a dance performance, the moving body manipulates the fabric so the body and the silk become one, distorting our perception or revealing a completely new physical form. The movement then brings this to life.”

Hôm nay được học về La peau de chagrin, về Vouloir et Pouvoir. Cộng thêm với nhìn khuôn mặt mình trên màn hình điện thoại tối đen - một cái gương chân thực hơn và tối sầm sì. Nhìn thấy những dòng này lại nghĩ đến em, lại tự hỏi không biết khuôn mặt em khi ngủ có đáng yêu như thế không nhỉ. Người ta bảo mình trông yếu đuối và bị động khi đang ngủ. Tôi thấy cái vẻ nguyên sơ đó đáng sợ hơn một đôi mắt mở to.
Tôi nhìn mình trong bóng hình phản chiếu, nhắm hờ mắt để xem liệu mình có thêm chút sức mạnh nào không, rồi tôi nghĩ, tôi rời xa em cũng phải thôi. Tôi nhìn vào màn hình tối đen, tìm điểm yếu của mình.
